Custom Pet Portraits

Watercolor pet portrait commissions. 9”x11” and larger.

I’m currently accepting commissions for custom portraits of your animal companion(s). I work off of your favorite photos of them, tuning into their unique essence and bringing it forth through my painting. I base the backgrounds on the photos, but sometimes only very loosely, adjusting and enhancing to suit the spirit of each individual subject, and the overall composition of the final painting. I do not trace and/or simply replicate the image in the reference photo, like many pet portrait artists, therefore the result is more soulful and expressive.
